About Youth Leadership Quests

About fifteen years ago a small spark was lit in Vancouver, British Columbia. A group of men from Canada took their sons, grandsons, and nephews back to the woods for camping, story telling, fun and adventure.

As the years passed, this small spark has been fanned into a platform that has caused young men to grow into great role models and leaders in Canada.

In 2002, following the model set by the men of Canada, The New Frontiers launched the Young Men's Alpha Leadership Quest - (YMALQ), in the US, in Phoenix, Arizona.

The program was the first of its kind that provided many opportunities for boys and young men to discover the qualities of leadership in themselves that benefit themselves and others. It's huge success quickly spawned a second weekend that followed in Wallowa Lake, Oregon.

About the New Frontiers

Young Men's Alpha Leadership Quests are sponsored by The New Frontiers, a not-for-profit organization with members throughout the world. Founded in 1998, The New Frontiers has evolved to become one of the leading organizations of its kind. We are dedicated to providing men, women, and children with a place where ideas unfold.

The purpose of The New Frontiers is to "inspire and teach men, women and children core principles and practices that improve the quality, performance and experience of our species throughout the world."
